L. J. Bamboo founder and designer, Lee J. Brenner, has been inspired by an amazing array of traditional crafts and cultural designs that he spotted during his myriad of travels throughout the world. Back in January 2001, while wandering the quiet sidestreets of Hanoi, Vietnam, Lee had an epiphany to create a collection of modern lifestyle goods using the traditional crafts and local artisans that he encountered during these his travels. It was also during these initial travels that Lee was inspired by one of the most varied and useful natural gifts found on every continent: bamboo.
