It held up well as a carry-on on the plane. The size is exactly what we needed! I stretched the capacity while packing, and the zippers held up well.

I use this luggage every weekend to go from college to home...Its just the right size to fit my books, clothes and laptop, etc. And I love the wheels...They are basically rollerblade wheels so they are very smooth...The handle Is also curable...I would highly suggest for shorter trips

The case did work well, and went to India and Japan and back. The one[*] is the zipper handles, they are held tightly at right angles to the zip and need a twist to pull them up and use them smoothly. This is harder to write than experience ... its not a major issue, and may be they will free up with more use. Still, the zipper handles are nice and larger to be a grip on. The frame inside the case does take up room ... if you are not a real light weight user then go for the next size up.

Lacks quality
By TamVerified Reviewer from Rochester, NY on 4/2/2008
Pros:

Cons:
Zippers Break
Best Uses:
Long Vacations, Weekend Trips

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This item was delivered with a broken inside zipper. There was no pull on the inside lining zipper. Very disappointed. I HAD to use the luggage for a trip over Easter weekend though, so I was not able to return it.
I will have to see if a saftey pin will work as a pull on the zipper.
VERY upset about this. Would not recommend unless company made it right.

Price and Product expected...Zipper Not

Bag is basic construction you would expect for price. Cons: It does tip over a lot. The zipper is bad. The zipper jammed multiple times and with some frustration I was able to get it back on track and zipped up. I saw the comments about the zipper before my purchase but I did not think it was going to be so aggravating. [...]Pros: Price. Basic need met. Many Pockets. Wheels are durable. This bag should fly well a few more times then it may be time to get a better bag.

A good carry-bag, not a good roller.
By BicoastalVerified Reviewer from New Haven, CT on 1/4/2008

Cons:
Rollers unstable
Best Uses:
Family Trips, Weekend Trips
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

What seems otherwise a great suitcase shakes and wobbles terribly when rolling on concrete (eg. sidewalks, parking garage to and from airport terminals etc.), then rolls smoothly on carpet or linoleum indoors. (The larger 25 inch version did fine on all surfaces, but this 22 inch one is completely unwieldy on concrete, so you need to slow down to a crawl to keep it in line while it shakes--or you need to pick it up and carry it instead!) BIG problem when you're trying to manage luggage and family and make a plane.

This is a decent carry-on bag for the price. My only complaint is that if you dont pack it just right, it will tend to tip over when standing upright.

This is really a 21" case and 1-2 in. of depth is taken up by the extended handle. Not for me.
