I travel light, so this bag is large enough for extended length trips. It seems very durable, and has a large capacity when expanded.

Had lots of loose threads out of box, spent a good 10 minutes or so trimming them away. Only taken it on one trip so far, but so far I really like it. It's light and easy to travel with. It appears to be a well-made sturdy case, but only time can prove that, so I withhold judgment for now.

I frequently go on fairly long business trips (7+ days); it's not large enough to accommodate everything I need for that like my old 29" was, but it'd be perfect for a 2-4 day or so trip.

I bought this case as a replacement for my old one which got broken. I looked for the similar size. Also I wanted wheels to be more stable during carying than my previous case had. And inexpensive as I did not want to get expensive case broken in a plane (as my old one was).
This one was exactly that. Size is exact and wheels are stable during normal (for me) use.
I read comments about instability when the case stays in expanded state, but cannot confirm. Of course it is less stable, but if you put it on both its wheels and leg(s) it stays very nice.
I was also surprised about the real capacity. I really thought that I'll need to bring one more bag for my belongings when had it unpacked, but then just closed the zipper and that's it!
Now I lended it to my parents in their 1 week trip to Italy... Did not get a feedback yet, so cannot comment on such trips :)
I really recommend it to the people looking for inexpensive case of this size.

I liked this so much, I went back & ordered the 29" to go with it. The taupe color is different & very easy to find on baggage returns at airports. My husband & I have used it for long weekends of travel, but would need the 29" for a whole week, as we only pack one bag. It is very light & seems like it will be sturndy; also like the pop-out feature.

Space too small for such a large bag

designed poorly, Small Capacity
Best Uses:
Weekend Trips

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The design of this bag is not good. The interior walls are indented and take up too much space. There is not a lot of space, also, because of all the hardware inside the bag. The outside of the bag is deceiving. This is nothing more than a weekend bag, not a week bag.

The zipper that accommodates the expanding feature was sewn into the edge seam, so the zipper tab could only be moved to within two inches of being closed. Any form of arbitrary inspection should have caught this defect.

Otherwise the luggage is of good quality and appearance, and stands up well to the rigors of air travel baggage handling.

A great luggage to tote around because of its size and weight. The stylish color (orange) helps identify the luggage easily among others during pick-up. But it is easily smudged (during transport) and hard to clean. But all in all for its price; and durability, sure beats the expensive ones.

I have used this suitcase to carry some heavy books plus some clothes. It is very sturdy, yet easy to carry. However, it tilts in its expanded mode. Most, I love the blue color which makes it easy to recognize and the big zippers.

Bought 3 of these bags for my son's family for Christmas. They were exactly what they were looking for and they really liked the size, construction, and color. I liked the color options and plan to buy at least one of these for before our next vacation. I love this site! There are so many bags to choose from that everyone should be able to find what they are looking for.

airline carlessness.

I just returned from my 1st trip with this case & fabric is worn away in several places. It should be advertised as disposable luggage. On my last flight leg it didn't show up on the carousel. Maybe I'll be lucky & it's permanently lost, then I can collect from Delta & buy a decent case.

By CORRIS M CARO from 2 CARLSON LN on 1/11/2007

I gave the case as a christmas present. Recipient tells me that the handle casing is not centered within the Ipper opening, and it is a little difficult when opening to get the handle to come up until you work it past the zipper area where it gets caught. I did not keep my order info after I gave the gift, and the recepient no longer has the packing, but I could get the case back for a return if you would send a replacement. Thank you. I just got back from a ...
By John Bohman from Undisclosed on 8/27/2006

I just got back from a week-long trip that involved a lot of moving around. This suitcase worked very well and I was able to fit much more into it than I thought I would. My only complaint is with the handle. First of all, I'm about 6'2", and it was just a little short for me. I had to figure out a new way of walking (mental picture: geisha) to avoid running over my own feet with the suitcase. The other thing is that after one trip, the handle started to be pretty loose. I'm not sure if it's a design flaw or if something happened to it in transit. Overall, this is a great bag and it's exactly the size I need for most of my travel. I would buy it again.
